Our designer hotel is situated in the heart of the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley, between the quaint mountain villages of San Sigismondo/St. Sigmund and Chienes/Kiens. Surrounded by the Dolomites – UNESCO World Heritage, thick woodland and verdant pastures, our hotel is also conveniently close to the main towns in the area – Brunico/Bruneck is just 12 minutes away, and you can get to Bressanone/Brixen in just 20 minutes. This makes the Bonfanti Design Hotel an ideal choice for exploring the area and taking advantage of its many possibilities. DESIGN your holiday at the Bonfanti Design Hotel, and make room for adventure!
The Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley has plenty to offer all year round. Spring, summer, and autumn are perfect for taking long walks in the woods, sampling the local specialities in the many local Alpine huts, mountaineering, and cycling. One thing you simply mustn’t miss is a tour to our Alpine hut in Lech de Poz in Alta Badia, organised by the Bonfanti Design Hotel twice a week, on request and depending on availability. Hop aboard our shuttle buses and admire the idyllic scenery of Alta Badia while enjoying a delicious traditional snack. In winter, our area attracts throngs of winter sports fans. The Plan de Corones – South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski resort – includes three different ski areas which impress skiers and cross-country skiers with more than 192 kilometres of pistes for Alpine skiing and several cross-country ski runs, too. But there is more: the Rodengo Alp, situated less than 20 kilometres away from our hotel, gives access to the cross-country ski runs of the renowned Dolomiti Nordicski circuit.
The area surrounding our designer hotel offers plenty of sights for anyone interested in the local history and culture. The nearby towns of Brunico/Bruneck and Bressanone/Brixen are definitely worth a visit and not just for a spot of shopping in their charming craft shops. Local attractions include Castle Brunico, the Novacella abbey near Bressanone, and the Messner Mountain Museum on Mt. Plan de Corones.
